Left to right: Post exam night out, Las Iguanas, home-made breakfast with sister, touring London, Ministry night out, dinner with Jaye, first day at new yard, walking Pedro, Sherlock Holmes Museum, selfie with top hats on with Deanna.
As another week draws to an end, another weekly round off post is in progress. What has everyone been up to this week? Anything special? My week hasn’t been too bad, quite interesting to be frank. Starting university again kind of sucked, but there you go – I am the one who wants to do cancer research after all!
I haven’t introduced my new flatmates yet, so I thought it was about time to do so. Personally, I think flat mates should be like a small family, a bunch of people you can trust and relay on and the people that will see you at your worst (i.e. mornings). I’m lucky to have had another great new set of flatmates as I did last semester too. I’m definitely looking forward to the new antics that I can covert into memories.
We have Erica who is 21 and is studying English, Deanna and Sean who are both 20 and study Business and Marketing. They all study at Marist University in New York, so jealous that they study in one of the most beautiful cities in the world! I am sure you will recognise them over the next few months as we venture out over London and take the obligatory selfie/Instagram picture – it has to be done! Along with my three new flatmates, come their awesome friends across the hall who have been great company, including touring around parts of London – it is nice to feel like a tourist again once in a while.
My week included a bit of post exam partying, something that was well deserved with my favourite people. It was a brilliant night to say the least, many jokes and memories have been definitely been made – enough said! 😉
Reena’s birthday – For my sisters friends 22nd birthday we went out for dinner at Las Iguanas, Wembley Outlets. I am always wanting to try new places to eat, so this was a brilliant opportunity. I would recommend it to anyone as it was such a lovely atmosphere and the food was great.
Ministry night out – Let’s just say that it was the most eventful night out I have ever been on, but I am glad that everything turned out right in the end. I think I am going to stay away from Ministry of Sound for a while – as something bad always seems to happen every time we go (eeeek!) A huge thank you to my amazing flat mate Rita for being there and helping me with a dear friend.
Meet up with Jaye – It had been a while since I had seen Jaye, so a meet up was definitely overdue. Nothing beats a beautiful bit of dining, so Jaye took me to a place that I had not been to before called Coast to Coast. It is another place I would recommend if you like American food, I had the barbecue buffalo wings along with some sweet potato fries – it was heaven. I also had the pleasure of finally meeting Jaye’s boyfriend Con too – all in all it was a pleasurable evening!
Working with horses – I finally found a lovely yard in London to work with whilst I am at university to get my fix of ‘horsey time’. My first day was so amazing, it felt so good to be around horses again and doing what I love. The staff were so friendly and I had a really enjoyable day, including walking around the streets of London with wee Pedro giving him a bit of exercise. I am so excited to see what the next few weeks there holds for me.
All in all, it was been an action packed week but I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I wonder what adventures i’ll get up to next week. I hope you have all had a fantastic weekend and that you have a brilliant week too.
Thanks for reading,

I really want to go to the Sherlock museum! I'm glad that you found a way to get your horsey fix in the city 🙂
The Life & Times of Belle
