Spring Has Sprung

You all thought I was becoming a hermit… right?

I can reassure you and put all your minds at rest, that I am actually alive! The past few weeks have been a little crazy to say the least. If you don’t already know, I am back in Bournemouth which is where I call ‘home home‘.
I could pretend that I am missing the smog, fumes and hustle bustle of London, but I am actually having a peaceful recuperation after a busy and hard semester at university. Filling my lungs with fresh seaside air and taking some time to myself.
Exams are coming up, anxiously sitting here trying to speed type this blog post as the clock ticks away, pressuring me with every second that I am losing. Two weeks and 3 days, that’s all… Scary. It is crazy how the time has just flown by since September, I remember starting as the “newbie” who transferred universities and was served with the look of judgement at the start of every day at university to the well rounded and settled student I am now with a secure set of friends to fall back onto.
I am riding, yes! Making the most of the horses whilst I am home. One of the things I miss greatly whilst in London. A hobby it may be, but a true passion of mine and a great way to destress and remove all the negative energy that circulates in my body.
It is great to have some family time too, another thing I miss whilst at university is my mothers amazing cooking. I have told her, as have others, that she should open a restaurant but it just doesn’t interest her at all, she loves doing it for her family but I think the enjoyment would soon leave once it involves money. Also celebrating my belated birthday, since my dad was out of the country during the time, so that was lovely.
Isn’t the weather just magnificent at the moment? Let’s hope it stays through to summer and gets even hotter. I am sure I will find the time to head down the beach at some point with my camera and capture the sun glistening over the teal blue sea and soft golden sand.
I hope you’re all enjoying yourselves in the sun and keeping busy.
Until next time…
