Smart dress is my style. Something about it gives me such a endorphin boost and a ‘feel good’ sensation. Clothes are definitely my drug, an expensive, fabric addiction but I am okay with that.
I was lucky enough to have been sent this stunning made to measure suit from Ownonly*, a business style suit, ready for a hard days work.
Sunny days make the perfect weather to shoot, under the sun, with the flowers blossoming and the luscious grass growing into a sea of green.
The suit itself fitted fantastically, especially as it was made all from my own measurements and sent to the tailors who are all the way over in America. Fantastic communication, extremely helpful staff and fast delivery service too.
Back to the suit! I often find that suits can be a bit of a uncomfortable piece of attire in the warmer weather, where you feel clamy and hot within one. However, I managed to do this outfit shoot, sit in my friends house for an hour, make a trip to central and back without actually overheating, which was a definitely winner for me. I love a good breathable and airy suit, especially as it is meant for everyday work use.
Paired with a nice light shirt and a bolder, more colour tie, it makes the perfect work-wear attire. Smart, chic and professional.

However, my favourite part of the entire suit was the hand sewn detail. How great is it to be able to open your jacket, and have your name and blog name so finely stitched inside? The cherry on top of a perfect, well rounded and elegant suit. Something that not everyone can say they have, a dash of personalisation is a great way to express a sense of uniqueness, another one of my great loves.
