LUSH Lovin’

It has been a while since I shared my favourite products of the month, approaching the end of April, it only felt right to do so. This month, every product is by LUSH. I could go on and on about how fantastic these natural skincare products are. Chemical free, doing a great job and achieving mighty fine results.
My first favourite, is the Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly. A product of many wonders, you can literally do anything and everything with it (I love a good multi-use product). You can use it as a hand wash, as a bubble bath once run under running water, a cold shower gel if frozen ready for the hot summer weather, or just a general body wash using an exfoliator. It smells heavenly, boasting a sweet fruity taste – think of sugary cherries mushed up and made into a wibbly wobbly shower jelly.
Lets move onto the Bubblegum Lip Scrub, this has worked a treat for me. I suffer from chapped, dried out lips most of the year but it is worse in winter. As we leave the colder weather, the remains of a harsh winter leaves its mark upon my lips, therefore this lip scrub has been helping in removing all the dead skin and allowing them to become softer and rejuvenate. I use it in the morning and again before bed, scrubbing away, removing the excess sugary scrub afterwards (by licking it off, yes, the only product in LUSH that is actually edible!) and applying a layer of Burt’s Bees moisturising lip balm afterwards.
Finally, Catastrophe Cosmetic Face Mask. Wow, oh wow, this product is insanely good. It has been an absolute godsend to me this month, as my exam period has come around and revision time is insanely stressful that I start to break out. Bearing in mind, I never ever get spots any other time of the year they definitely make up for it during this time period. The Catastrophe Cosmetic provides a cooling, calming and cleansing of the skin whilst hydrating it at the same time, unlike many other face masks out there. It is packed with blueberries, which gives it that wonderful lavender colouration and it has a dash of rose and chamomile oil that helps reduce skin ‘flare ups’.
Have you tried any of these products?
Until next time…
