Morning Skincare Routine

The best tip to having the best skincare is having a routine, only then you can see what works best and what does not. Through elimination and supplementation a perfect skincare routine can be prepared. To start with, find out what sort of skin type you have, oily? dry? combination of both? That’s the first step. I personally have combination skin, which is why I use the products that I do.

A key step in skin care is keeping the skin hydrated, a simple glass of water when you wake up in the morning before you eat breakfast. It can do a world of good, not only to your skin but to your body functionality too.

Products that I use in the shower, LUSH Let The Good Times Roll it is a perfect cleanser as it works between a scrub and a gentle face wash, clever right? It allows you use to use it on a daily basis without having the abrupt and tough effect on your skin. It have cinnamon and vanilla in, which leaves your face smelling fresh and skin feeling baby soft. I recommended this product to a family member of mine, my sister – she doesn’t have the best skin whilst trying many other products too, nothing has worked for her. Let The Good Times Roll has in fact made a difference to her skin and she is now hooked on it, so I am glad I have made a difference to somebody else’s skin as well as mine.

What I do next is I then cleanse further, using The Body Shop Seaweed Purifying Facial Cleanser which I bought as a set at Christmas along with a toner and a day cream, which I think was £27. Having good skin does not have to cost the earth, just simply having to find the right products. I use add a small amount of cleanser onto a cotton wool face pad and massage the cleanser all around my face.

Afterwards, I repeat the same step at as the cleanser but with The Body Shop Seaweed Clarifying Toner which simply removes any dirt existing in the in the pores that the cleanser and scrub have not been able to reach.

As I finish toning I find my skin starts to dry out, so I use The Body Shop Seaweed Mattifying Day Cream to close the pores and add moisture to the skin.

Voila! My day to day skin care routine is complete. It doesn’t have to cost a lot or take a lot of time, just a committed routine with the correct products for your skin.
