Hummingbird Bakery Pitstop

Let’s talk cake. Glorious cake. Marble cake, red velvet cake, rainbow cake, vanilla cake, chocolate cake. So many cakes… mmmm!
I had my eye on a small bakery that is situated in Soho, having wanted to go for the past few weeks, I leapt at the opportunity after a early finish at uni and took my friends along too.
From the outside, Hummingbird Bakery looks like sweet shops I used to go to as a kid. All things sweet staring you in the face, with lovely pink walls that just reminded me of the Willy Wonka factory. Except, this time it was in the cake form… even better!

I was in literal cake heaven, just going past staring at all the delicious cakes and cupcakes. Another hard decision, trying to pick which one to have.

They even had Christmas themed cupcakes!!! -squeals-

We all went for the traditional red velvet cupcake though, just had to be done.

So delicious and worth the few weeks of waiting, but I finally made it!
I took a vanilla cupcake with chocolate sprinkles back for my sister, she was absolutely delighted that I did too. She indulged into it instantly. You could tell from her facial expressions that she had the same views as me on the cakes at The Hummingbird Bakery.
