The Christmas holidays are fast approaching. People are frantically preparing for that special day, buying gifts last minute, wrapping presents, getting their food shopping done and decorations up. Whilst everyone gets dressed in their best outfits, why not make someone’s day with a different kind of gift. The gift of a classic Daniel Wellington watch. It’s never too late to own such an elegant time piece that sits so perfectly on your wrist. Quality like the Daniel Wellington name is hard to come by, I promise you.
I’ve been a customer of Daniel Wellington for the past few years and I can truly say, it’s one of the best watches i’ve ever owned. I’ve not had to change the battery, it’s survived through the rain and sun and only after 3 years have I had to replace my strap, after daily use. Impressive huh?
There is also something for everyone! Many universal and fashionable styles with different strap combinations, you can pick up your new timepiece that is personalised to what you love.
Here are my favourite combinations that I have chosen and worn over time:
The perfect silver and white face classic style watch, with the brown strap. This particular model is known as the St Mawes. It comes in 40mm or 36mm face sizes. I’m wearing a 36mm in the photo above, as I have very dainty wrists. It goes well with everything as it’s very natural. It was my first ever Daniel Wellington watch and served me well, followed up with many compliments.
However, if leather straps aren’t your thing, there are the nato straps that also come with the watch. If you like more of a casual look to your watch. Pictured above is the classic Glasgow. A pretty nautical look, something I love wearing in the warmer months. However, there is nothing stopping you from getting a leather or nato strap as they are so easy to swap. Daniel Wellington are also doing some great bundle deals too, so it’s the best time to pick up an extra strap or two and save too!
My favourite style for winter is the new classic black faces. Only recently been released, it’s a chance to get your hands on the most trendy style for A/W. I’m the sort of person that tends to wear a lot of black during the colder months, just out of habit, so the new classic black watches are just perfect.
See how sleek it looks? This particular watch is the classic black Sheffield with the silver detailing, but it also comes in a gorgeous rose gold detailing too, also with the black strap. Again, if the leather isn’t your style, it comes in a black nato (Cornwall) or leather faux snake skin style (Reading). Along with their classic black collection, their new Daniel Wellington cuffs were also released in silver and rose gold. I got the silver cuff, to compliment the majority of my silver detail watches and other silver accessories I wear.
The classic style also comes in a lovely rose gold style. I got it in the St. Mawes style, because I think the brown leather looks best against my skin, but it also adds a bit of warmth, along with the rose gold detailing. Remember, I said earlier about wearing silver with silver? Well, it does just as well with rose gold too – it doesn’t always have to match!
