Family reunite

Never say goodbye, because there will always be a day to reunite…

On Thursday 16th, we had family come down from India from my mum’s side – my grandma’s brothers daughter and grand-daughter to be specific.
The last time I had seen them was at least 6 years ago, when I went to India for the first time…oh the memories!

Had a lovely time being a tour guide, showing off how beautiful Bournemouth really can be! We started off taking them to the beach… come on, who doesn’t like the beach? It was so lovely to be back there again, it had probably been a year since I last went… oh how time flies! We were fortunate that it was a lovely day, even the weather forecast said otherwise (you can never trust the weather forecast these days!)

The stunning Bournemouth beach

On Friday, we went to Poole Quay, showing them our local harbor and the lovely hand made pottery shop that always grabs people attention – you can’t come to Bournemouth and not see it?!
There were some stunning boats parked up along the docks, really shows the money some people have to spend on such luxury items, I wish I got a picture for you all now.

Then on Saturday, we took them to the Jurassic coast, in Lulworth called The Lulworth Cove and ‘Durdle Door’. We were blessed with another beautiful day again, which made it all worth while. The different shades of blue was so elegant, especially with the sun rays hitting the way – could have stayed there all day!
Afterwards, we decided to hike up a steep hill, the scenery from the top was so beautiful but the climb was so difficult, especially if you are unfit like me!

Sadly, that was the end of their trip, it was short yet sweet and was lovely to see them again. I hope i’ll go back to India soon to visit, when reminiscing about our trip there it really made me want to go back! Such good memories…

Thought i’d complete the pictures with some pictures my family too!

Only thing missing, was my beloved sister – she was doing her last exams for her 3rd year of Pharmacy.
