Dining at 2 Veneti

After a busy day running around places, nothing I needed more than a wind down over a nice glass of bubbles.
The night so dark and the wind so bitterly cold, it had us shivering in our thick coats and scarfs too! It was not a long walk between the station and the restaurant nonetheless.
My sister and I headed over to 2 Veneti for a delicious Italian dinner, thanks to the wonderful people over at Zomato.
We were seated quickly, thanks to our prior reservations. I am so glad we did too, they got busy very quickly!
The table set so elegantly, with lovely ambience thanks to the dim lighting and the candle light.
We decided to kick things off with some bubbles…

Cheers to having such a fabulous sister. Definitely sharing a sibling moment here…

We didn’t go for starters as we were both a little full from lunch still, so we munched on some deliciously made bread along side some olives. Yum!
Sharing another sibling moment! We both went for the same main dish, lamb and rosemary ravioli.
It was divine! The ravioli was cooked exactly how we liked it, the lamb so soft and tender it practically melted in our mouths. The sauce a creamy, light cheese sort with the rosemary faintly coming in behind it – perfect.
Safe to say we were really full, but we definitely had space for some dessert!
Some refreshing mint tea was required. Boy oh boy, did it taste good. Who knew?!
The desserts looked heavenly. We chose the tiramisu and the white chocolate brownie with rum and raisin ice-cream.

I have never had such a good tiramisu before, it was made to perfection!
We had such a lovely time at 2 Veneti, left with stomachs full of delicious food and drink. A well needed wind down indeed.
