Day 6: Favourite Season

My berry goodness – Mmmm!

Here we are, day 6 and I am still living up to the challenge – not yet defeated! This challenge has definitely kept me motivated and committed to my blog but also has given me different things to write about too!

Today’s post is about my favourite season, there is going to be one season that will always be my favourite and that stands out to me the most. Summer is the season to love. I am sure many of you are lovers of other seasons and are questioning why not the other three? Firstly, winter is too cold for me and nothing special occurs, autumn (fall for my American readers!) is beautiful when all the leaves change colour but once they have fallen it is nothing special and finally spring, I think it would be my second favourite season as all the flowers bloom and all the baby animals are born whilst the weather starts to get warmer.

It is a perfect day for this post, as the sun is in full bloom today shining over the wonderful London, so I decided to get some strawberries and snack on them, bliss. It is days like this that encourage summer to hurry up and get over this way, I miss the heat, I miss being able to eat ice-cream any time of the day, drinking ice-cold ciders and taking my horse to shows. 

The wind is blowing through my window as I type, my fan is blowing cool air, when yesterday I was sitting under my duvet with both my heaters on full and drinking tea?! Whatever has happened overnight, I can only count on the weather to keep it coming. One thing I do hate though, on a warm day is when passing clouds block the rays and you have sudden patches of a sudden darkness – not a fan when that happens.

I have already got myself in the summer mood already, damn it. Come on Aftab, you can do it. Not long left until the glory days arrive. I want to go strawberry picking already and eat my weight in strawberries before even buying them. So I have set myself off into a whiney mood, so that sounds like a good time to wrap up the post.
