Day 13: Somewhere I Would Live To Move/Visit

I have actually thought about today’s topic in the past, quite a lot actually. Having been around people from many different cultures and countries since I was a little kid, I have always wondered where I want to pursue my life in the future. Do I want to continue living in England or do I want to migrate to a different country?

Since visiting my cousins in Canada, it has always been on the cards as one of the places I would consider moving to in the future, once I had got my degree and some working experience. I personally think America is a beautiful place to live and there is a lot to offer out there.

My current flatmates are from America and I have been comparing a great deal of different things with them, some of the things that are different from the United States and the United Kingdom. Having heard some of the benefits they get whilst being university students makes me wonder why I never went to university over there. They have a great passion for sport which keeps a lot of their students motivated and driven where as sports is a very small part of university life.

America has the best food, nobody can deny that. I love trying new food and having a great variety of food places to go to. The food in States is unreal, they have so many different food chains that I would have never thought were even possible do in actual fact exist. After visiting Florida and Canada, I realised how excellent the American sweets are in comparison to the English sweets, to be honest it puts England to shame.

I would love to visit more places in Europe such as Italy and Brazil but I doubt I could ever move there. Firstly, I feel that languages would be the biggest impact, although many countries in Europe do speak English – most people speak in their countries mother tongue.

Such beautiful places, that are definitely worth a visit and I am going to ensure that I see as much of the world as I can before my days are up, because you can only then say that you have lived your life to the fullest, trying out new things and seeing new places is the best to do exactly that.

Taking each day a step at a time, who knows what the future is going to hold. Just have to find out by living and seeing what journey my life takes me on.
