Day 12: Five Weird Things I Like

I have been told that I like some really weird things, some of you may not think so and some of you may agree with some of the things that I like. I think people are allowed to have their own opinion on things, after all not everyone would like the same things. Imagine how boring the world would be if everyone did in fact like the same things?

So here are the 5 weirdest things that I like:

1.  The smell of freshly cut grass – There is something so great about it, one of my favourite things about summer.

2. Collecting things for memories – I have an obsession with collecting things that signifying a good memory, whether it be a cinema ticket or if it just my name tag from the table at a wedding, I think objects are the best way of keeping memories alongside pictures.

3. Squeezing spots – This is an extremely disgusting one and I will probably have most of you cringing at this one but it is extremely satisfying.

4. Having my back scratched – I remember when I was a kid, it was the best thing that anyone could ever do for me. It was something I enjoyed so much, I would ask one of my parents to slowly skim their nails down my bad as if they were scratching a blackboard. Ahhhhh…

5. Taking my shoes off after a long day – It is the best feeling ever, there is nothing not to like about it. Allowing your feet to have its freedom back is just heavenly… and stretch!

I found a quote that I really liked and that really fit the post well, so I thought I would share it with you all:

“Being called weird is like being called limited edition, you are something that people do not see often, remember that.”

I would love to hear what weird things you like, so feel free to share them with me in the comments below.

Thanks for reading,

Haha, great post! Can't say I relate to many of these but I do love collecting things as well! I have huge boxes full of things like receipts from things I have bought on holiday etc. Maybe I'm just a hoarder.. 🙂

I love the smell of freshly cut grass too! I tend to collect designer carrier bags for some reason – it's becoming a problem haha!
