A quiet Wednesday in January, most people snuggle up into bed early ready for an early morning rise. The majority taking part in dry January, detoxing from all the alcohol consumed during the festive part of last year.
This Wednesday night was not like our usual ones, as I wanted invited by the lovely Angela who blogs over at The Awkward Blog to do something a little different.
Thompson holidays was launching their new campaign called Thompson Scene, which designs glam and luxury get aways for 18 to 35 year olds.
Angela and I hopped on tubes to meet each other at Old Street station, ready to hit up Callooh Callay in Shoreditch.
Three rooms, representing three different countries with their own canapés and cocktails in each room. Each room was run by one Made in Chelsea cast member, Proudlock, Lucy and Binky.
After grabbing our first drink, we proceeded to explore what all the other rooms had to offer.
The decoration and dim lighting really set the scene.
Whilst we mooched around the rooms, we bumped into Charlotte from The Goodowl and gleam blogger, In The Frow. An honour to meet them both!
A few more cocktails later, Angela and I were ready to hit the photo booths. 😉
I think we all knew how this was going to turn out…
Before we knew it, it was time to announce who’s room won. Proudlock won with his Thailand room. Also one lucky person managed to win a week’s holiday to Ibiza – sadly it was neither of us.
Almost like a full blown paparazzi scene!
The presenting all done and dusted, we continued to party the night away. Jamelia Jamil busting out the tunes, feet tapping and heads bopping to the beat, Angela decided it was a good time to have a much needed catch up over another cocktail and some sugar treats.
A fantastic week day night out came to an end, as we slowly swayed our way back to the tube station to head home. A brilliant evening, thanks for hosting Thompson and to Angela for the invite.
