The Pudding Bar – Now Closed

I had so many good things about this little pop-up in Soho, so I just had to try it. Being a Friday night, it was extremely busy for such a small place but they quickly got us a table even though we did not have a reservation – which was ever so kind!

We walked up the tiny twisty staircase and were invited into a small room, with chatty dessert loving people.

Before coming my sister and I had already chosen what we wanted, so we ordered straight away.
Whilst we were waiting for the desserts to arrive, my sister insisted that I took a snap of her and the beautiful red flowers that were present on the table.

Followed by a not so glamorous and goofy self…
We sat sipping ice-cold water and had a good catch up, whilst admiring the quirkiness of the place.
Another place with brilliant service, the dessert arrived so quickly to our amazement despite how many people were coming and going.

I ordered the Banoffee Delight, which consisted of banana and caramel mousse, with walnut shortbread, caramelised banana and white chocolate ice-cream.

My sister ordered the Blondie and Brownie, which consisted of brownie and blondie (chocolate free brownie), white and dark chocolate sauce and peanut butter ice-cream (it is normally milk chocolate, but my sister asked if they could substitute it for peanut butter and they happily agreed.)
I definitely went to dessert heaven, it was so good. I haven’t had quite like it before, unique in its own way. My sister’s dessert was a little more plain, but none-the-less just as good.
The pop-up is only open until January, so get your hats and scarfs on and venture out here one evening.
