I love luxury branded cosmetics, I do, I really do. Sometimes though, deep down at drugstore level there are some real gems. Undiscovered and majorly underrated. Today, I thought I would bring you my favourite drugstore duo from the Boots own No7 range.
I could rave about the No7 Energising Face Scrub all day. It being a scrub, it is not meant for daily use and should only be used once a week (no matter what the instructions say!) I like to use it on Sundays ready for the week ahead. It is another product that you can turn a little into a lot, squeezing a small amount and lathering over your face it uses microbes to vigorously cleanses removing dirt and oils. Starting off as a gel scrub, as you work it in it slowly coverts to a soft cream based cleanser. After washing it off, it really feels like you have baby soft skin (no exaggeration!) as it has removed the dead skin cells. I would recommend using your day moisturiser afterwards too.
Another of my favourites is the No7 Energising Supercharge, a perfect light cream to keep your skin feeling hydrated through the night without clogging pores and causing spots. It recommends to moisturise afterwards, but I feel that the supercharge on its own is more than enough. After using a gentle cream cleanser, apply a small amount over the face. It gets quickly absorbed by the skin, so it does not feel sticky either – a winner!
Both products come to a grand total of £21! If you go at the right time, Boots tend to have 3 for 2 offers on No7 products, so you get pick up an extra product for free. You cannot go wrong there.
