Winter in England is not like your traditional winters anywhere else around the world. We have some milder days and some very cold days, meaning you don’t always want to throw on a thick winter jacket and scarf everyday. Sometimes, you are happy to go out in something a little lighter that will keep you warm if there are any sudden changes in weather or a massive cold gust of wind comes along.
I found this fantastic number in the post from Burton Menswear, a perfectly warm black bomber jacket that was ideal for those milder winter days.
I will be honest, I never looked at bomber jackets and thought I want one and could incorporate one into my wardrobe, however this bomber jacket has converted me. I am completely and utterly in love with it. It gives you everything you could possibly want in winter – warmth, comfort and complete style factor.
I often get put off wearing blazers over casual outfits during the winter period, as it is not something you can wear on its own, neither am I a fan of wearing coats over blazers as it gets too hot and stuffy. Therefore, this bomber works really well as it is a cross between a smart blazer and a warm coat, which is another reason I feel it works for me.
I paired this beautiful jacket up with a dark navy blue polo shirt, a pair of black jeans to keep the statement of the black flowing through the outfit, a smart pair of black loafers that help the jacket take on a smart-casual look, accessorised with a stunning rose gold buckled belt. My favourite thing about this belt is that it is reversible, meaning you can have it with black or brown leather depending on what you are wearing.Jacket: Burton // Polo: US Polo Association // Jeans: Topman // Shoes: House of Hounds // Belt: Burton
Until next time…

The jacket really suits you!
Thank you!
I totally get it. Last year this time around it was freezing and blizzards in Chicago, today it’s in the upper fifties, and rainy, and it may all change in a blink 😉 Great jacket, btw!

It’s crazy, silly weather! Thanks Lera.
My husband loves a good bomber jacket!
I guess we can bond over that one day then! 😉
Haven’t seen you do an outfit post in a while! I definitely agree that jacket is a great mix. I had a fitted suede bomber similar to yours that worked perfectly for any casual outfit over a shirt or t-shirt and I lost it on a wild night out.

I know, it has been ages. I’ve been bad, but I sorted it out. Thank you Kosta! Sorry to hear about your bomber, I remember reading the post you did on it!
