October is one of those months that everyone looks forward to, purely because it is the start of the holiday season with Halloween. Followed by a run up to Christmas – an exciting time for all!
I have been limiting myself this month on how much I spent, but I just had to go on a little haul for those real “essentials”. I picked up a few bits that I have been looking at for a while and decided to treat myself.
This month I have been loving two products in particular…
Snow Fairy is a shower gel from LUSH that has been loved many men and women for quite a long time. It only comes out during the Christmas period which sends everyone crazy, running in to try and grab a bottle. This year I wanted to see what all the fuss was about and I can see why now. It is heavenly. It smells purely of sweet delicious bubblegum, which leaves your bathroom and skin radiating of it too – what more do you want?! A little goes a long way with it too, it foams up really fast, as you can see I haven’t used a lot but I have used it daily since I bought it.
I have always heard good things about Burt’s Bees so I thought I would try out Burt’s Bees Nourishing lip balm, after trying so many other balms. Most of them never really give you the true moisture I have required. I go into the cycle of getting horribly chapped lips as the weather becomes colder, it is a known cause for me so I always have to prepare with a balm stick in advance. I have tried many including Nivea, Chapstick, Vaseline and Carmex but none of them compare to this balm. In a short period, it has given me real results, enough to get me to stick to it from now on.
