Supreme 7 Luxury Hotel Bars In London

I’ve had my fair share of pre-dinner drinks and night caps. From the famous pornstar martini to a glass of ice-cold champagne. Not forgetting the sublime gin and tonics or mojitos. London has a great scene of amazing bars in London, almost too many to choose from. It has been a tough job, but I think I have managed to select my favourite seven luxury hotel bars in London.

1. The American Bar – Savoy

The American Bar - Savoy

It goes without saying, the Savoy has the best bar in London. From the top notch Pornstar Martini’s to the extensive champagne collection it is my favourite spot to have a drink. It has a buzzing atmosphere, with 5 star service and even a talent pianist that keeps the night entertaining.

2. Amaranto Bar – Four Seasons Park Lane

Amaranto Bar - Four Seasons Park Lane

Set in a opulent setting within Four Seasons London is the beautiful Amaranto Bar. They are one of the few bars that have been able to get me to try one of their own cocktails, the Watermelon & Basil (minus the basil) is a must have cocktail when visiting. If you’re in the mood for food, you’re only steps away from the Amaranto restaurant which serves gorgeous modern Italian food.

3.  Artesian – Langham London

Artesian - Langham London

The Artesian Bar is known for its well presented cocktails. You certainly won’t find anything like it anywhere else, that’s for sure. I’ve visited the Artesian bar several times because quite frankly I just can’t get enough of it, especially with their new perception menu. They have taken cocktail presentation to all new heights. They also know how to treat you like a true royalty at their bar and hotel. If you have one too many cocktails, you can pop into their Palm Court restaurant or Roux at the Landau, serving British and French cuisines. If you don’t want to travel far, you can book a room in their palatial hotel.

4. The Arch Bar – InterContinental Park Lane

The Arch Bar - InterContinental Park Lane

The Arch Bar at the InterContinental Park Lane knows how to serve a brilliant Pornstar Martini. I’m so fussy when it comes to my favourite cocktail and I have found there are few very bars that can make it like the bartenders at The Arch Bar. If you’re feeling hungry, you are seconds away from the famous Theo Randall’s Italian restaurant.

5. Courtyard Garden – Sanderson London

Courtyard Garden - Sanderson London

The Courtyard Garden at the Sanderson offers a picturesque Japanese themed outdoor garden with warm heaters above. Grab a marble table and sip on Perrier Jouët champagne. You can enjoy the Japanese garden all year round, in all weather conditions as most of it is covered. I’ve also heard their Madhatter’s Afternoon Tea is quite something – i’m yet to try it though.

6. Scarfes Bar – Rosewood London

Scarfes Bar - Rosewood London

The Scarfes Bar at the Rosewood is one of my favourite bars because of it’s interiors. It makes you feel like you’re in the library room of your uncles house, with the log fire burning and a delicious cocktail in one hand. They aren’t able to make Pornstar Martini’s here, but their champagne cocktails are divine. A perfect bar to roll into after having brunch at the Mirror Room.

7. Connaught Bar – The Connaught

Connaught Bar - The Connaught

If classic bars in the heart of Mayfair is your thing, then you will love the Connaught Bar at The Connaught. The leather seating and quintessentially British service makes it the perfect stop for a glass of Laurent Perrier champagne for a break in between shopping. Cheers!

Have you been to any of my favourite London bars? If so, which is your favourite?

Until next time…
