First week back in Bournemouth!

I’m back! Yes… finally after 4 full months of being in London (well I did come home half way through!) without my parents, my horse or my friends.

I have brought so many memories back from London to share with my family, from all the amazing memories, crazy nights out and the people I have met, not mentioning having to admit to all the new clothes i’ve bought! Let’s just say that Oxford Street and Westfields have been very kind to me this semester, its turning into a guilty pleasure…i’ll have to end up going to shopaholic anonymous at this rate!

My parents have definitely been spoiling both me and my sister since we have been back, apparently its been very quiet without us… that explains my big loud mouth then!
It is so nice to have my homely comforts back, my mum’s amazing cooking and best of all – my bed!

One thing I can’t get over though, is how fast this week has gone?! They do say time does go fast when you’re having fun!

Anyway, lets start from the beginning, touch down in Bournemouth at night!

Bournemouth welcoming us home!

Being home, I had to go and visit my special boy. Definitely missed him like crazy! To my amazement he was actually happy to see me, his ears pricked up and he perked up as soon as he saw me pop round the corner. I came baring gifts too… (I played a wiseman for the day haha!)

My boy in his new Christmas present, a brand new rug!

Ello ello Daddy!

The next few days I have literally just been studying, the joys of January exams – oh well… got to be done but hopefully it will be worth it in the end. Well, it better be!

Sporting my ‘geek’ look, trying to act all smart!

This week has also been a case of trying new things too. My sister and I decided to try out the famous microwave cake recipe, it actually didn’t turn out half bad for something that took a quarter of the time of a normal cake!

Yum yum, microwave cake!

On the other hand, my very dear friend has also been trying out new things too.. new horses! We went to see a new horse called Take today (renamed to Mr. T by Debbie haha!) and he was fabulous, a gentle giant standing at 16.3hh, a very chunky bay gelding. He had paces to die for and he didn’t even flinch at the storm in the sky and rain showering over him. He’s definitely a one in a million – just got to hope and pray that he passes the vetting now! Fingers crossed…

The big boy himself, such a beauty!

Christmas is slowly approaching now, only 4 days to go… I can’t believe how fast it has come around! Have you all got your decorations and trees up, presents wrapped, Christmas dinner prep being done?! So much to think about.

Our tree, very colourful and bright!

Not long until the new year either, 2014 here we come… please be good to us as 2013 has been quite a year for many of us with some good and some bad memories, but none-the-less we live for another year!

I just thought I would leave you all with a quote that I found, it speaks for itself.

I hope you all have a brilliant Christmas and New Year!
