Feel Good Everyday

Nothing like waking up everyday ready for the day ahead, many of you may wake up feeling sluggish, tired and not wanting to go to work that day… or any day!
I’m going to share with you what brings the best out of my days, so you can also share the same vibe and be more inclined to wake up in the morning.
Wake up early, I know it is hard but once you get into a routine it becomes easier! I’ve been doing it for years now. Everyday even on weekends I wake up before 8 most days, whether it be for the horses, college/university, or just an empty day that needs filling with something fun.
Eat breakfast, breakfast is the key to start your day after you have been fasting for the past 7-8 hours while you slept. I like to be healthy, so I eat granola with dates with either milk or yoghurt or almond butter on toast with banana on top. It doesn’t matter if you want to be healthy or not, breakfast is key to have energy until lunch time.
Workout early in the morning, it gives you such an unreal buzz that you can’t even describe. Makes you feel so fresh, that’s why I only workout in the morning. Drink lots of water whilst doing so, it flushes out your internal systems whilst getting some exercise – 2 in 1!
Dress well, it is something that will always bring me that extra boost of confidence and a feel good factor. If you dress like you’re lounging around the house, you will definitely feel sluggish.
Always leave early, if you’re going to work, school, uni or have to make an appointment. Without a doubt your mood will change for the worse when put under stress trying to make somewhere on time. It is okay to leave 30 minutes earlier than usual, therefore if there is traffic or a delay in your transport you will still make it there on time with no stress.
Make the most of your time, remember that even Beyoncé only has 24 hours in a day and she manages to juggle being a full time mum and still keep her title – Queen B. If she can do it, then there is no excuse for you not to do a little extra in your day.
Do a kind gesture for somebody. If you see a homeless man/woman sitting on the side of the street, take them something to eat or drink. If you see an old lady struggling to cross the road, help her across. If you see a lady or gentleman struggling to take her suitcase down the stairs of a tube station, offer them a helping hand. It always feels good to help others around you!
Live a little, dance to your favourite tunes whilst making breakfast, sing in the shower as loud as you can, explore new places, find a bridge or somewhere secluded and scream at the top of your voice.
Add a that bit extra to your home, bring home a bunch of flowers to fill that empty vase on your table. Buy a candle and light it whilst you read your book in bed, but most of all, have an early night and get a full good night sleep.
