Day 9: How Important I Think Education Is

I have hit day 9, almost one third of the way through my 30 day blog challenge – still going strong! Today’s topic is quite an interesting one to be honest and it is one that will get many mixed views depending on the reader. 

I personally think that education is very important, especially these days. There is not a lot one can do without higher qualifications these days. I know of many university students who have degrees in Law that are still struggling to find jobs. It is a very hard time for a lot of people with the recession going on. 

Currently, the minimum mandatory requirement is for a child to stay in school until they are in Year 11 and then have the free will to ‘leave’ school. That scheme should be scrapped and it should be mandatory to stay in school until Year 13 (or complete college). 

Education is a advantage that will always be important, it is one of those things where once you have completed it you will always have it under you belt.  I feel that also when going to do higher or further education, it is important to do well in what you do too, therefore it is important to enjoy the course or subjects chosen to study. 

Overall, I do feel that education is very important and I would suggest anyone to pursue in it too!
