Day 29: Something I Am Excited For

Last summer, Debbie & I on Saarka and Jimmy Choo – Excuse my washing line reins too…

This past weekend, the weather has been absolutely beautiful. No, let’s rephrase that… magnificent. I have never seen the weather so nice in March, normally 18 degrees is late April/early May weather, but we have got it early this year.

What am I excited for? Summer. Summer is my favourite season of the year (My post on this topic can be seen here – add post link here) where the weather is unbelievable, the sea glistens under the warn sun, people are out in summer clothing (I love summer clothes), we swap coffees for ice-creams and ice based drinks, picnics, relaxing in the garden and barbecues. Oh lordy, I could go on all day about summer.

This year will be the longest summer I have had to date, finishing my first year at university and all with just a few days short of 4 months. It is going to be immense, I just hope the weather was like how it was last year. We need heat waves pleaseeeee except during Ramadan, I will not be able to deal with a another year of fasting through extensive heat whilst having a horse to look after too.

[Takes a break and stares at the hot people that walk past] Oh sorry, as you can probably tell, I am at my work station in Starbucks, catching up on blog posts. It is so easy to get distracted as the best looking people live in London. Some people really need to sort their fashion sense out here though, who wears a suit with timberlands?! Sigh…

Anyway, back to summer! It is going to be amazing, did I say that already? I think the thing I am most excited about is just having the time of university and having no work to do but also spending time with my family and my little Blue boy, getting back into a regular routine of riding and going to lots of shows this year too. It is going to be a horsey filled summer, with lots of pictures making new memories.

What do you guys have planned for this summer?

Thanks for reading,
