Firstly I would like to apologise for yet another late post, coursework is causing me to pull my hair out and is causing me so much aggrivation. We have made it to day 28 – hoooorah! Today’s topic is an interesting one, but it is another reason why I have enjoyed the blog challenge so much, it has thrown topics at me that I probably would not have ever thought to write about.
So, who would I invite to my dinner party? A dinner party is something that would be personal and would be a place where the people I invited must have some sort of importance, especially as I am able to bring the dead back to life in this instance!
1. Beyoncé – You all knew this was coming… my music idol has to attend, it would not be the same without her grace and elegance along with her beautiful voice.
2. Nelson Mandela – The man who fort for the independance of the black people, to remove segregation and for a better future for those living in South Africa. Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years for what he did, but at the end, justice was served and he got what he wanted. Freedom for his people.
3. The Queen – The Queen plays a very important role in keeping our country together, therefore she deserves a seat at my dinner table.
4. Both my parents’ dads – I never had the pleasure of meeting my granddad’s because they both passed away before I was born. Therefore I would love to bring them back for a meal and get to know them , as I hear they were both very great men.
5. My parents – I would want my parents to be able to benefit from this dinner party, they should get the chance to meet such famous and inspiring people and for them to meet the best parents in the world.
6. Albert Einstein – He was such a great scientistic (A mad scientist as they say!) He is an inspiring model for me and I would love to be able to bring him back and have dinner with him for one evening.
7. Prophet Mohammed – He was a big part of the muslim community, who was a prophet of God and the last messenger, he would be one of the important people that would have to attend.
8. Shontelle Layne – My second most favourite singer out there, she deserve more recognition for her music and it would be a pleasure to meet her.
9. Ryan Gosling – Being my favourite actor and all, he would definitely deserve a place on the table of importance.
10. Barack Obama – Since he is the first black president of America and he is making America a better place, he deserves a place. I’m sure he and the Queen would have a lot to chat about.
Who would you invite to dinner?
Thanks for reading,
