Bloggers That Brunch At Dalloway Terrace

Dalloway Terrace

Good morning & happy Monday! Hoping you all had a fantastic weekend? Well I certainly did. I spent Saturday looking after my two little cousins and galavanted around London and yesterday I spend a good few hours with my favourite internet friends over a a good ol’ Sunday brunch.

Away from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street, towards Tottenham Court road is the beautiful Dalloway Terrace, a part of the Bloomsbury Hotel. Dalloway Terrace has been in the limelight a lot recently with a few London bloggers as it has only been open for 5 months. Therefore, making it London’s best kept secret, until now…

Dalloway Terrace reminds me of something you would find in a chick flick, like the Cinderella Story. Super romantic, chic and cosy, almost too cosy, since we ended up staying for over 3 hours… Oops!

Dalloway Terrace

Can you blame us though? They literally cater and ready for London’s crazy bipolar weather, complete with an open and closing shutter roof, soft plastic walls, heat lamps and blankets. You can’t tell me you wouldn’t want to spend all day on a Sunday here with your laptop, under a blanket and heated lamp on a cold winters day – with all the coffee too?! Well, you all know where to find me on my weekends now.

We were lucky to have spells of sunshine that allowed the roof to be drawn back and the warm rays to hit our faces and we brunched and discussed all things blog and travel related. It is nice to be able to enjoy such cool places when London gives us nice weather too.

Our brunch started off as a boozy one with mimosas. Clearly the staff at Dalloway Terrace heard us coming for a catch-up with our cameras in tow and decided to make it extra special for us. Although, us bloggers don’t function in the mornings without our coffee, so as soon as we had polished off our mimosas, there was a large coffee order going around the table.

A picture perfect latte complete with a lovely marble tables. Can it get any more instagramable? Clearly it can’t, as I caught the lovely Emma snapping a coffee flatlay. I expect to see that on her Instagram soon…

Fuelled on coffee and champers, conversation was in full flow, with many funny moments filling the table with the sweet sound of laughter. Silence came about for a second as we all watched our delicious looking dishes being served.

I went for the french toast with fresh berries, creme fraise and maple syrup. Seetal had the same as me, it was a dish for champions.

Across the table, Binny was feeling the french toast too, but with the classic american bacon and maple syrup on hers.

Shikha had the Kent spinach salad with soft poached eggs, piquillo peppers and toasted pine nuts. Not going to lie, I was a little envious of her dish as it looked incredible.

Angie had a fresh fruit salad with greek yogurt, which looked nice and light. As of today that will be my sort of breakfast as I need to get on serious diet with all the food i’ve been eating lately.

With so much good food on the table and brilliant company combined, we had the best few hours and certainly didn’t want to leave. I feel every Sunday brunch should be like this, especially with all the talk of wanderlust, luxury hotels, sun and infinite pools it almost felt like we weren’t in London anymore.

Have a great week one and all!

Until next time…
