December is here! Can you believe we are in the final month of 2016? So scary! It felt just it was only just New Years Eve with us all cheering and toasting welcoming 2016. However, I have a great feeling that 2017 is going to bring amazing things. However, we can’t get carried away and start thinking about the new year yet, let’s enjoy Christmas first. Need some help to get into the festive mood? I have you covered.
1. Dalloway Terrace Hot Chocolate Cocktails
Once you’ve done a bit of Christmas shopping on Oxford Street and admired the beautiful Christmas lights, head on down to Bloomsbury and visit Dalloway Terrace. Enjoy a couple of hot chocolate cocktails to warm up your cockles and get warmed up by the heated lamps above. Bliss!
2. Winter Wonderland Festivities
Have a free weekend or weekday evening? Grab some friends together and go have some light hearted fun! Grab a chicken or meat bratwurst, some mulled wine and enjoy the music performances in the Bavarian village.
3. Rekorderlig Cider Lodge
Nothing beats a post-dinner walk down the Southbank, admiring the gorgeous London skyline and the fantastic festive lights on the trees. How romantic. However, I can assure you, you will freeze. Luckily for us the Rekorderlig Cider Lodge is along the Southbank. Take a pit stop, grab a hot plum cider and warm up by the open fire.
4. Visit Duke of York Square and Gallery Mess
If you have kids and Santa’s grotto is more your thing, then head into Chelsea and explore Duke of York Square. Pop into Partridges and grab some Christmas dinner supplies, before visiting Santa and ending the night in Gallery Mess enjoying their festive menu.
5. Festive Afternoon Tea at The Langham
England is definitely known for it’s afternoon tea, especially in London. Get festive whilst enjoying some delicious afternoon delights. Cherish Finden has come back, better than ever with her new purple themed festive afternoon tea. The Langham is definitely one of my favourite places to have afternoon tea in London!
6. Christmasy Cocktails at Artesian Bar
If traditional cocktails are more your thing, I have you covered too. The Artesian bar has curated a selection of festive cocktails to really get you feeling festive. Pictured above is the ‘Candlelight’ and it was glorious. Absolutely delicious. A perfect pre or post dinner spot, definitely one to check out!
I hope this post has given you all a few ideas how to get into the spirit of Christmas.
Until next time…
