As we almost leave January and get ready for February, there is a special date in the diary. One that puts pressure on all the singletons for being alone for this auspicious day, also for people with other halves to make it perfect. The romantic dinner dates, the well written cards and the perfect bouquet of flowers. Rest assured, you will get the idyllic restaurant for Valentines Day with my top 5 romantic London restaurants.
1. Roux At The Landau, Langham Hotel
If your partner is a total romantic and is the sort that wants to be proposed to on the Eiffel Tower, I would definitely recommend Roux At The Landau. It’s the next best thing to getting the Eurostar over to Paris, but except it’s in the heart of Marylebone. Equipped with the best waitresses and waiters offering quality service. They even have the an array of fantastic French champagnes too. Full post here.
2. Bob Bob Ricard
Bob Bob Ricard will always be one of my favourite restaurants. It’s where I met one of my favourite bloggers for the first time for dinner. Also, the push for champagne button is something that would excite any champagne lover. Not to mention the eloquent and luxurious interior complete with small, intimate booths and dim lighting. The cuisine is a cross between classic British and Russian, definitely one to try. Full post here.
3. Amaranto, Four Seasons
Just off Park Lane within the Four Seasons Hotel is Amaranto. A restaurant is a modern Italian style with a cosy, luxe vibe. Start at the bar first with one of their finest cocktails before moving into the restaurant for your meal. The menu has something for everyone. My favourite dish was the cod, because it wasn’t your typical Italian dish but it has a definite twist there. If you want something less complex but special, then Amaranto is for you. Full post here.
4. ROKA
If Japanese cuisine is more your thing, then try ROKA. From sashimi served on ice to the most beautiful vegetarian dishes, you can rest assured that ROKA isn’t all about seafood. It is one of my favourite Japanese experiences to date, especially as I don’t like seafood. The setting is romantic and classy and you can be sure to have an unforgettable date night here for Valentines day. Full post here.
5. Min Jiang, Royal Garden Hotel
If beautiful views across London, an exclusive setting and the best Peking Duck in London is up your street, then definitely dine at Min Jiang. This stunning Chinese restaurant is found within the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington. It was a lovely quiet yet romantic ambience with candles lighting the room once the sun sets. There would be nothing more romantic than dining at heights with your loved one this Valentines day. Full post here.
Where will you be spending your Valentines day?
Until next time…
