When Carl agreed to let me do a PR post on Pin Collar Shirts, I was over the moon. I wanted to show the world what they were missing out on. I am a huge lover of suits and formal wear, nothing I love doing more when going to events and functions. Carl is the founder of Pin Collar Shirts, a London based brand that specialises in a unique style of shirts.
Along with a different style, that you would not find anyone else wearing comes absolute comfort, elegance and beautiful fitting. This pin collar shirt is a slim fitting cut, which is made to enhance your body structure, if you’ve got it, why not flaunt it?
I hear some of you asking how the pin within the collar works? Well I was confused about it first, but it is so cleverly designed. The pin is detachable from the shirt collar, where you unscrew a small ball off one side of the pin and insert/extract the pin through the holes provided in the shirt. Different coloured pins can also be purchased from Pin Collar Shirts depending on what you prefer.
Pin Collared shirts have been carefully designed to achieve the best look for us males, this shirt being a formal style shirt, it has been designed to be longer in length to make it easier to tuck in to suit trousers and to prevent it from untucking when moving around.
This particular shirt has a different style of collar too called the “penny curve”, which in fact looks quite beautiful and sleek. I love the design as it is different compared to your average shirt collar. Whilst the collars having a penny curve, the design has been replicated onto the double buttoned cuffs of the shirt too.
The buttons on the shirt give it an extra touch, with mother of pearl buttons providing a very sleek and beautiful touch, completing the look of the shirt. Thus, making it more suitable for formal events.
Another thing I love about Pin Collar Shirts is its personalisation. There is a wonderfully embroidered ‘P’ placket in orange thread at the bottom of the shirt to signify that it is in fact an original.

This shirt can also be found in a regular fit too, so if you are not a fan of the slim fit, there are other options too.
