My wonderful friend Jaye won tickets to go to London Zoo, to watch a silent cinema within in the park and get to visit a few of the animal enclosures. Sadly to Jaye’s dismay she was not feeling up to it so she asked if I wanted to take a friend instead, so along came my best friend Anna.
Having wanted to go to London Zoo for a while, this was definitely a chance to tick something off my bucket list and a unique experience too. (Thanks Jaye!)
The visit consisted of getting a complimentary glass of Rekorderlig, a tour of the reptiles enclosure, a trip around the monkey and vultures enclosures and a silent movie, with head phones on. It was a lovely evening all in all. It is a new thing that they have launched and I know that they have it on for the rest of the week, where tickets are £23. Each day has a different movie and they tour you around the enclosures of the main animals that are in each movie that is being shown. I would recommend it to anyone that is visiting London over the next few days, something different to do in the evening!
After that, the trip back to the station was extremely interesting. Anna and I attempted to take a short cut through Regents Park at 10pm, getting lost, finding hedgehogs and then to find that they were shutting the park so we had to end up jumping gates (not my forte at all!). We decided a treat was much required so we ended the evening off with a trip to Häagen-Dazs and indulge into some ice-cream goodness!
Thanks for reading,
