As a fashionista, I not only get an enjoyment of dressing myself in different and adventurous ways but I also get pleasure in admiring a well dress man or women walking in the street.
I had great pleasure to finally meet Anton from Style Division, a blog and blogger that I have been awe of for a while now. It was only a matter of time before I set a date in the diary for us to get together.
We met over a coffee at Yumchaa near Goodge Street. A lovely quickly little coffee shop, that had a calming atmosphere with ample of seating and what looked like a great selection of cakes, tea and coffee! Definitely one to try out out coffee and tea lovers.
After a nice long chat, feeling refuelled, we stepped outside to take some outfit shots. I have to say, Anton was looking rather dapper and his outfit was something special. Luckily I brought my camera along too, so I was able to get some for myself and share with my readers the effort and enthusiasm that us Londoners put into our daily looks.
The contradictory of a smart outfit with some street art worked really well, which made it the perfect scene to shoot Anton’s outfit.
Normally, people feel that the cold is a time of year where people cannot be fashionable. However, Anton perfectly proves that along with style there is practicality. The long warm Ted Baker coat fits the season, keeping him warm but also looking the part. The over sized scarf brings some warming colour to the outfit. Many people feel that winter is all about wearing dark colours and embracing the grim feeling that winter brings. Warmth can be expressed through lighter, brighter colours that pushes through uninviting winter chill and is more appealing to the eye.
The hat is another great accessory that Anton added to the overall look. Keeping your ears warm and preventing any heat being lost through your head, a perfect add on to fit the season.
However, hats are not for everyone. I am not a hat fan myself, but as you can see the whole look still looks perfect with or without it. Without the hat, it is a look that could be worn into the spring time even as the temperatures get a bit warmer.
Choosing colours carefully, his top half consisted of the more brighter and bolder colours, That is normally the first thing people notice as you walk past or directly towards them. Sticking to the traditional darker blacks and browns, complimenting his long structured legs finishing off with some classic smart brogues.
