Spring Wear

Spring is upon us, the sun is out and it is time to plan new outfits to fit the season. I am a huge lover of the warmer weather, but I am more partial to summer than spring but nonetheless still like spring! So here is a spring inspired outfit that I designed out of things that are currently in shops, I hope you like the way I put it together.

ASOS Slim Fit Shorts In Washed Cotton

When I saw these, I instantly fell in love with them. They look so fresh, white being quite a pure colour. It stands out but compliments the season beautifully with later evenings would go perfectly.  Unlike most other shorts, they give the slim fit look which I like normally because I hate the ‘baggy’ look. Priced at £22 from ASOS, they are reasonably priced. Something you should have in your wardrobe this season.

Classic Fit Tartan Plaid Shirt

To go with the plain shorts, I decided to spice it up a bit and add a bold coloured tartan shirt. The benefit of it being a classic fit is that it is breathable in for those really hot humid days whilst you are able to roll the sleeves up too. I think it gives it a bit of a smart casual look too, so it is something that would do well for a summer barbecue in the garden for a friends birthday. Priced at £18.75 from Forever 21.

There is something about these shoes that stood at to me the most, as its just definitely got the spring look that I was after for sure. They also have a really smart casual look which is what I wanted for the entire outfit. Those that know me really well, my shoes normally have to be a similar colour or partly coloured with the same colour as my shirt/t-shirt. This worked perfectly, as it had the blue coloration that is on the blue tartan shirt therefore completing the look. Priced at £35.99 from Office.
Personally, I feel the entire outfit just fits with colours and definitely compliments the season but I would love to hear your opinions on the outfit. Do you like it? Would you change anything?
