New Years, Welcome 2014!

2014 is finally here, the Chinese year of the Horse!

I have said that this year would be my year, that I would make an effort to make things run smoothly and ensure I am more successful through the year.

Everyone makes New Years resolutions that they don’t necessarily keep, as you see on most of these social networking sites such as Facebook people post statuses such as ‘New Year, New Me’ – but lets be honest… it will last and week and you’ll go back to being a bad person again.

Another common resolution is losing weight, becoming fitter and spending less money. I am not going to commit to the last one, as you all know how much I love clothes and of course, clothes cost money! Becoming fitter was definitely one of my resolutions last year, and I had kept to it – slowly getting there but i’m hoping 2014 will be a better period for my fitness.

This year, i’ve kept very simple resolutions as follows:

– Keep my blog up to date

– Be a better person (i.e. not judge people)

– Take any opportunity that will help me to be more successful

– Pass all my exams this year

– Get Blue up to County Level standard showing

I can’t definitely say that each and every one of my resolutions are achievable and I intend on keeping them up through out the year, not just for a part of it.

Another thing I am going to do is keep a piggy bank, where I will write a little memo of when something good happens and post it in the piggy bank. Then whenever I get sad, i’m going to open it and read all the good memories so far. On New Years eve 2014, I will empty the entire piggy bank and remise over how amazing 2014 has been.

I hope you all have a fantastic New Year and that you chose your resolutions wisely!
